Delete your Sumo Japanese account

You can delete your account and all its data yourself, in the Sumo Japanese app:

1. Open Sumo Japanese on your phone and sign in.
2. Open Profile → Settings → Account.
3. Tap “Delete account” and confirm. It takes effect immediately.

What gets deleted

Your profile, email, progress, avatar, follows, banzuke history, notifications and devices are deleted immediately, and from backups within 30 days. Subscriptions bought in the App Store or Google Play must be cancelled there. Reports you sent are kept without your identity.
